Description
Model Farmhouse, dated 1685, is a coursed stone house with a square plan and a steeply pitched hipped Collyweston stone roof. The building has two storeys and measures three bays by three bays. It features three-light stone mullion windows with dripmoulds and a modern stone doorway on the south side, positioned to the left of center. There are also two modern hipped dormers and ashlar chimney stacks with cornices. On the west side, there is a late 19th-century wing made of stone, also topped with a Collyweston stone roof and featuring a gabled end. This wing has two storeys and a single-storey extension. Inside, there is a Victorian dog-leg staircase and chamfered ceiling beams.
