Description

Primrose Cottage is a mid-19th century range of four cottages that has been converted into two. The building is constructed of coursed stone with ashlar dressings and features a thatched roof with half-hipped gable ends. It is one storey high with an attic and includes five gabled dormers, each with thatched roofs and shaped bargeboards. On the ground floor, there are four small casement windows with glazing bars. The central entrance has a recessed porch with an elliptical arch, and there are thatched roof porches at each end supported by timber posts. The doors are ledged, and there are two large brick chimney stacks on the ridge.
