Description
Vine Farmhouse is an 18th-century house situated at right angles to the road, constructed from coursed stone and topped with a Collyweston stone roof featuring gabled ends. The building has stringcourses located under the eaves and at floor level. It stands two storeys high and consists of three bays. The first floor has three-light casement windows, while the ground floor features sash windows with glazing bars and a central doorway. The doorway is adorned with a moulded stone architrave that includes a keyblock, an entablature with a pulvinated frieze, and a cornice, leading to a glazed door. The house has ashlar end stacks with cornices and a gable-ended wing at the rear, creating an L-shaped plan.
