Description
This is a small 18th-century barn located to the north-east of No 5 (Wisteria House) on Church Lane. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble and features a Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends. The barn has central modern barn doors facing the road, a blocked doorway to the left, and a square window under the eaves to the right. There is also a triangular ventilation hole. The barn is included for its group value, which also encompasses a high stone wall that adjoins it to the north-east at the corner of Church Lane and Maxey Road. This wall is made of coursed stone rubble, approximately 12 feet high, and has stone slate coping.
