Description

21 George Street is a mid-19th century building designed in a simple neo-classical style. It is constructed of stucco and features a shallow-pitched hipped roof with a broad eaves cornice. The building has a plan that is one bay deep and three bays long, rising to three storeys. The second floor includes small sash windows with glazing bars, framed by architrave surrounds and a cill band. The first floor has taller double-hung sash windows with glazing bars; the side elevation window features a bracketed pediment, while the central window on the front elevation also has a bracketed pediment, and the outer windows have cornices supported by brackets. The ground floor has a modern shop front, and there is a curved and slightly recessed corner feature.
