Description

A row of three headstones is located approximately 15 metres south of the east angle of the chancel in All Saints Churchyard. These headstones, facing west, are made of ashlar and stand under 1 metre high. From north to south, the headstones are as follows:

(i) The first headstone is for Philippa Swayn, who died in April 1713. The inscription is surrounded by scrollwork and features a skull flanked by cross-bones at the top.

(ii) The second headstone commemorates John Keeling, who died on June 28, 1713, at the age of 6 years. The inscription is also surrounded by scrollwork and topped with a winged putto head.

(iii) The third headstone is for John Keeling, who died on August 29, 1736. Its inscription is surmounted by two winged putto heads and decorative swags.

Additionally, there is another headstone located approximately 10 metres south of the chancel's south door, also facing west. This headstone is made of ashlar and stands under 1 metre high. It commemorates John Reynolds, who died on May 6, 1731, at the age of 59. The inscription panel is topped with a winged putto head flanked by smaller putto heads, with floral scrolls and drops above and around the inscription panel.
