Description
No. 3 Church End is a cottage from the mid to late 19th century, part of the Shuttleworth Estate. It is constructed of mottled pink brick, with the exterior featuring colourwashed roughcast render. The roof is made of clay tiles, accented with bands of fishscale tiles. The building is a single-storey, two-room block that borders the road, with a parallel block at the rear. It has a two-span roof and the road-facing elevation includes two three-light cast iron lattice casements. The entrance is located at the north gable end, which features a gabled trellis porch. There are integral brick gable end stacks with chamfered angles. This cottage forms a group with Nos. 4, 5, and 6 Church End.
