Description
No. 6 Church End is a cottage from the mid to late 19th century, part of the Shuttleworth Estate. It is built from mottled pink brick and features a block with colourwashed roughcast render that borders the road. The roof is covered with clay tiles, accented by bands of fishscale tiles. The cottage is a single-storey, two-room structure with a brick block that projects from the rear. The road-facing elevation has two five-light cast iron lattice casements, and the entrance is located at the rear. It has brick gable end stacks with chamfered angles. This cottage forms a group with Nos. 3, 4, and 5 Church End.
