Description
No. 4 Church End is a cottage from the mid to late 19th century, part of the Shuttleworth Estate. It features mottled pink brick and a block that borders the road, with colourwashed roughcast render. The roof is covered with clay tiles and has bands of fishscale tiles. The single-storey structure consists of a two-room block that runs along the road, with a brick block extending from the rear. The road-facing elevation includes two 3-light cast iron lattice casements, while the entrance is located at the rear. There are brick integral gable end stacks on the west and north sides, which have chamfered angles. This cottage forms a group with nos. 3, 5, and 6.
