Description
Nos 33 to 36 on High Street are a row of four cottages from the Southill Estate, marked with a plaque that reads "W H W 1855". They are constructed of yellow brick with red brick dressings and feature a clay tile roof. The cottages have a total of four rooms, are two storeys high with attics, and include four three-light windows on the ground floor, four two-light windows on the first floor, and four gabled dormers in the attic, all fitted with cast iron lattice casements. A central gabled porch contains a pair of four-centred arched doorways with part-glazed doors. There are two multiple ridge stacks, and the gable ends have similar single porches. The porches and gable ends are adorned with pierced decorative bargeboards.
