Description

No. 117 on Station Road is a house, possibly originally a pair of cottages, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has colourwashed roughcast render, with the south gable end rebuilt in brick. The house features a thatched roof and has a two-room plan across two storeys. The east elevation displays a variety of casement windows, mostly with glazing bars, including four on the ground floor and three on the first floor. There is an off-centre plank door, and red brick stacks are located at both gable ends. The ground floor has applied timber frame decoration. There is a garage addition on the right-hand gable and a lean-to addition at the rear.
