Description
Flitwick Mill House is a house associated with Flitwick Mill, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a slate roof. The house is located at the northwest corner of the mill, forming an overall L shape. The main block is rectangular with a three-window facade across two storeys. On the east elevation, there are two windows on the ground floor and three on the first floor, all featuring gauged brick flat heads and 20th-century three-light casements. The central entrance has a five-panel front door flanked by shepherd's crook pilasters that support a flat hood. There is a red brick ridge stack on the left-hand side and an external brick stack on the right gable. To the right, there is a later 19th-century addition with a shallower roof pitch and sash windows that do not have glazing bars.
