Description
This building is a row of four cottages from the Southill Estate, dated 1855, as indicated by a plaque. Constructed from yellow brick with red brick dressings, the cottages feature a clay tile roof and have a total of four rooms across two storeys and attics. The ground floor has four three-light windows, while the first floor has four two-light windows. There are also four gabled dormers in the attic, all featuring cast iron lattice casements. The windows on the ground and first floors have cambered heads. A central gabled porch provides access through a pair of entrances, with the left entrance having a plank door. The cottages have two brick multiple ridge stacks, and each gable end includes a single porch designed in a similar style. The porches and gable ends are adorned with pierced decorative bargeboards. These cottages are included for their group value.
