Description

The garden wall and entrance gate at the Grange date from the 17th and 18th centuries, with repairs made in the 20th century. Constructed of red brick, the wall runs along Grange Street for about 60 metres before turning west for an additional 15 metres. It stands approximately 1.5 metres high. The gateway to Grange Street rises to about 3 metres and features a round-headed archway flanked by pilasters, topped with a moulded cornice. The gate has 20th-century timber doors, and the walls are capped with 20th-century brick, with an additional gateway inserted to the north.
