Description
This building is a coachhouse located approximately 25 metres north of Clifton House, dating from the later 19th century. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a hipped clay tile roof. The structure is one storey high with attics and has a rectangular shape.
On the north elevation, there is an archway on the left side with an elliptical head, which is mirrored by an elliptical-headed coach doorway on the right side that has double plank doors. Between these two openings are 20th-century inserted garage doors, a small single light window, and a round-headed doorway with a plank door. There is also a small single light window to the left of the archway. The original arched openings are adorned with colourwashed rendered arches, impost bands, and keystones. The attic features a central gabled dormer with pierced wavy-edged bargeboards and a wrought iron weathervane. This building is included for its group value with Clifton House.
