Description

This is an early 18th-century brick building range, originally comprising Nos. 21 and 21A, now 21A and 21B, Woburn Street. The building is two storeys high and has a tiled roof. The gable end is whitewashed, and the front is stuccoed with a mock quoin dressing. There are two original four-panel doors, each beneath a projecting hood supported by shaped brackets. Some original windows remain, consisting of two-light or three-light sashed casements. No. 21 has been modernised, with glazed door panels and added bay windows. Nos. 1 to 7 (odd), Nos. 11 to 15 (odd), and Nos. 21 to 37 (odd) form a group. Nos. 21 to 37 (odd) also form a group with No. 1 Chapel Lane.
