Description

Chestnut Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse located in Lower Dean on Tilbrook Road. The building features a timber frame that is covered with colour washed rough cast and is topped with a thatched roof. It has three bays and consists of one storey with attics. A red brick ridge stack is present, and there is a back entrance aligned with the chimney. The front elevation includes a 20th-century casement window, a 19th-century sash window with glazing bars, and a 20th-century front door.
