Description

Elm Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1600. It features a colour washed rough cast on a timber frame, with some parts rebuilt in brick. The roof is thatched. The building has a three-bay plan and stands two storeys high, with one red brick ridge stack and one red brick integral gable end stack located at the south. The windows are 20th-century casements, with both 2-light and 3-light designs. There is a part glazed door from the 20th century on the south side. The gable ends are adorned with bargeboards. At the rear, on the north end, there is a single storeyed outbuilding.
