Description

Nos. 52 and 56 on Cause End Road is a 17th-century house with an H-plan layout. The exterior is pebbledashed and features an old clay tile roof. The front wing was remodeled in the 19th and early 20th centuries, with a brick refacing and a roof clad in fishscale tiles. It has carved bargeboards and finials. The house is two storeys high, with two early 20th-century casement windows on the first floor and two canted bay windows on the ground floor. The rear wing includes a gabled attic dormer, and there is a 20th-century porch or conservatory on the ground floor.
