Ivy Cottage is a 17th century or slightly earlier timber-framed house that has been rendered with pebble ash. It features an old clay tile roof and is designed in a T-plan layout, with a central projecting two-storey porch on the main wing. The building has two storeys and includes a gabled dormer to the right of the porch. The windows are casement style, with some featuring glazing bars.
