Description

Church Cottages are eighteenth-century cottages located on Church End, Vicarage Close, in Ravensden. They are built with a timber frame covered in colour-washed rough cast. The roof is corrugated asbestos. The cottages have a three-room plan, two storeys and attics, with single-storey, flat-roofed extensions to each gable end. Most windows are casements, dating to the twentieth century. A red brick stack is located on the north-west gable end, and a red brick double stack is located on the ridge.
