Description

The Old White Lion is an early 19th-century cottage located on Bedford Road in Ravensden. It is constructed of clay lump with a colour-washed brick exterior, and has a thatched roof, hipped to the north and half-hipped to the south. The building is L-shaped and has one storey with attics. The front elevation features two eyebrow dormers with casement windows. Two ground-floor casement windows and the left-hand doorway have slightly cambered heads. A single-storey lean-to addition extends from the north wing. A central double red brick ridge stack is positioned on the front block. The building was formerly listed as the Old White Lion Inn.
