Description

The Case is Altered Public House and Harper Cottages is a row of cottages dating from the 18th century. The buildings are timber framed with brick nogging, while the public house has been refaced in red brick. The two central cottages feature color washed rough cast. They have a thatched roof and an overall eight-room plan, consisting of one storey and attics. There is a variety of casement windows throughout, mostly from the 20th century, and seven dormers. The public house includes two gabled weather boarded porches and windows on the ground floor that have cambered heads. Other doors are also from the 20th century.
