Description

This barn, located north of Barford House, dates from the mid to late 19th century. It features wood cladding and a thatched roof. The structure is a low rectangular block with a gabled entrance that projects from the south elevation. Designed in a rustic style, the walls are adorned with decorative logwork arranged in geometric patterns. On the west elevation, there is a three-light window with logs serving as mullions and pine bark used as a decorative lintel. The gables have pierced decorative bargeboards with drop finials. The entrance is fitted with double plank doors.
