Description

No. 8 Bedford Road is an 18th-century cottage featuring colourwashed roughcast over a timber frame and a thatched roof. The building is designed in an L shape, with a gable end that projects towards the road on the left side. It has one storey and attics. The main block includes two 2-light dormers positioned above the eaves line, while the ground floor has one 2-light window. The gable end features a 2-light window on the first floor and a 3-light window on the ground floor. Three of the windows are adorned with bracketed hoods, and all windows have white-painted lattice casements.
