Description

Joel Cottage is a long, low 17th-century range situated on the north side of High Street in Stagsden. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with a roughcast and timber-framed section on the left-hand side. It has a thatched roof. The central section projects forward. The cottage is one storey high with attics. The left-hand section features one large eyebrow dormer and four ground-floor leaded casement windows. The central section has one small dormer, a single three-light leaded casement window, and a door with glazed side panels. The right-hand section includes a large gabled dormer and a ground-floor three-light casement window. The building has group value.
