Description

A pair of four-house properties, now combined, dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations in the late 20th century. The houses are constructed of brick with a tile roof and rear stacks. They are one storey high with an attic space lit by four gabled dormers, and feature a band marking the ground floor. There are four windows, which are 2-light casements from the 20th century, set under flat arches. Two rear entrances, one on the left and one on the right, are framed by wooden architraves and have 20th-century ledged doors. The main entrances, one to the left (number 6) and one to the right (number 8) of the centre, are protected by 20th-century flat wooden canopies supported on wooden brackets. These entrances also have wooden architraves and 20th-century ledged and boarded doors fitted with ornamental strap hinges.
