Description
This house, located about 10 metres north of Woodeaves, dates from the 17th century and has undergone some alterations in the mid-19th century and late 20th century. It features a timber-frame structure with painted brick infill and a tiled roof. The building has a T-plan layout, with a cross-wing aligned northeast to southwest and another range to the southeast.
The northwest front has one storey with an attic that is illuminated by a casement window in a gabled dormer. On the ground floor, there is a French casement window to the left, and a roughly central entrance that is sheltered by a lean-to tiled canopy and features a half-glazed door. A chimney stack is positioned immediately to the right of the entrance. The framing consists of four square panels high with straight tension braces. Woodeaves itself is not included in this listing.
