Description
No 4 on Church Street is a building likely dating from the 18th century or early 19th century, with alterations made to the top floor. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of brick. The top floor features five windows with later stone heads, while the first floor has four windows that retain their original brick voussoirs and lack glazing bars. The ground floor showcases an early 19th-century design with four arches; the narrower arch is positioned above double doors, and the other arches are above round-headed windows with column mullions. The doorway has paired columns topped with carved capitals. The building includes a plinth and a modillion cornice, and there is a yard door located in a channeled rusticated section to the right.
