Description
The Baxter United Reformed Church is an 1884-5 building by F W Tarring. It is constructed of red ragstone with stone dressings, and is designed in the Early English style. The church comprises a nave and aisles, with a prominent north-west steeple. The west facade features a central west door with three orders of colonettes, flanked by aisle entrances, each with a gable above. A large window of five lights is positioned above the door, featuring three trefoils in a circular design. The north wall is elevated above the river and comprises four transverse gabled bays, each with a three-light window.
