Description

No. 14 York Street is a shop that may have originally been a dwelling, built around 1800. The building is constructed of brick and has a Welsh slate roof. It is three stories tall and has a single unit plan. The early 20th-century shop front features an arcaded window and a doorway to the left, both beneath a single fascia. The upper windows are 12-pane sashes with flat arched stuccoed heads that have voussoirs and keystones. The building also has a modillion eaves cornice and gable end stacks.
