Description
This is a house, built around 1780. It is constructed of brick with stone quoins and has a slate roof. The original building is three stories high and has three bays. The central bay features a six-panelled door with a round arched fanlight and side lights, set within a pedimented case with triglyph capitals. The windows are twelve-pane sashes, each with a flat-arched head made of stucco and incorporating voussoirs and a keystone. A stuccoed eaves cornice, decorated with modillion details, runs along the top of the building, and there are gable end stacks. A lower bay on the left side was added slightly later, rebuilt at ground floor level, and includes one blind window above. The rear of the main part of the house has two Palladian windows on the first floor, canted bays at ground floor level, and a parapet eaves cornice.
