Description
The quay side on the south side of the River Severn extends south from the Severn Bridge for about 290 metres and includes four flights of steps. This quay wall and steps likely date from the 18th century and incorporate fragments from the medieval period, with repairs made in the 19th century. The wall is plain and features four flights of stone steps. Approximately 75 metres south of the Severn Bridge, there is the abutment of a medieval bridge.
