Description
The wash house, located about 30 yards south-east of Three Wells, is a building from the mid- to late 19th century that now serves as a store. It is constructed of brick with blue brick dressings and has a plain tiled roof. The building has a small, rectangular plan and is a single storey. The entrance is situated in the north-east gable end, and there is a 3-light latticed casement window in the north-west side elevation, both featuring cambered heads. Additionally, there is a small rectangular light in the south-east side elevation and a bartizan style octagonal chimney at the south-west gable end. This structure is included for its group value, as it forms a significant visual link between Three Wells and the Old Manor.
