Description

This is an 18th-century building fronted with coursed cement rendering, located on the north-west side of Vine Street. It is three storeys high and features three sash windows on each floor, each with moulded keyblocks and plain lintels. The front door is within a moulded wooden doorcase, complete with panelled reveals, a small weather hood and a four-panelled door. Above the door is a rectangular fanlight. A three-light window is present on the left-hand side of the ground storey. The building is topped with a parapet. Number 16 forms a group with numbers 1 to 7 (consecutive) and with the Old Grammar School on Merstow Green.
