Description
Rynal Street features a terraced range of houses numbered 1 to 12, dating from the early 19th century. These buildings are constructed of red brick and stand two storeys tall. They have pointed arched windows that include keyblocks and "Gothic" glazing bars. Number 27 Swan Lane, which is part of this group, is a slightly more significant three-storey house that has two sash windows with keyblocks and channelled lintels. As of 1976, the properties were unoccupied. Together, Nos 1 to 12 and No 27 Swan Lane form an important architectural group.
