Description

Thatched Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with some restoration from the mid-20th century. It has a timber frame with rendered infill set on a stone plinth and features a thatched roof. The building likely consists of two framed bays with a central stack, and it is oriented with the gable end facing the street. It is one storey high with an attic, which is lit by a two-light casement window in the gable. The ground floor has a three-light casement window, and there is a mid-20th century lean-to on the right side that contains the entrance in the corner of the right-hand return wall. The framing consists of two rectangular panels high, with the gable above rendered. This cottage is included for its group value.
