Description

No. 18 High Street is a house dating from the 17th century, which was remodeled around 1857. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar quoins, with some areas rebuilt in brick and faced in roughcast. It features a tile roof and gable-end stacks. The house has two storeys and three windows on the upper floor, with the central window located under a gablet; it consists of four lights to the left and two lights to the right, all of which are stone mullioned. On the ground floor, there is a four-light stone mullioned window to the left and a three-light window to the right, both adorned with square labels. The central entrance features a 19th-century ledged and boarded door. A datestone is visible in the left-hand gable.
