Description
Vicarage Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed from coursed lias rubble, featuring Cotswold stone quoins and timber-framing with rendered infill, topped with a tile roof. The building has two bays aligned east to west and includes a lateral stack on the north wall.
On the west gable, the stone structure rises to two storeys and has a blocked square-headed window in the gable. The first floor features a 3-light stone mullioned window with a square label, while the ground floor has a 4-light stone mullioned window beneath a moulded drip mould. The entrance is located in the east gable, which displays exposed framing with two square panels extending high to the first floor.
