Description

This sundial, located about 15 yards south of the Orangery at Hanbury Hall, is likely from the mid-18th century. It is made of ashlar stone and features a stepped square base. The sundial is designed in the shape of a large urn with a heavily moulded form, showcasing cable details and an acanthus-decorated capital. It occupies a prominent position in front of the Orangery.
