Description
This sundial, located approximately 22 metres southeast of the southeast corner of Pitchford Hall, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from grey sandstone ashlar and features a stepped square base. The sundial has a rectangular stem with a recessed rectangular panel on each face and a moulded top. It is fitted with a copper dial plate and gnomon, which is signed "Tho. Walford."
