Description

This is a mid-19th century mounting block located about five yards south-east of the entrance of Hanbury Hall. It features an irregular four-sided plan, with a brick base topped by ashlar capping and four ashlar steps on the inner side. The mounting block stands approximately three feet high and is part of the 19th-century forecourt layout to the east of Hanbury Hall.
