Description

This is a dovecote located about 10 metres south-west of The Grange, likely built in the late 17th century with some alterations from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed lias rubble with ashlar quoins, and features a tiled roof that is gabled on all sides, topped with a central glover that has a pyramidal roof. Each gable includes a small window with perforated wooden infill. The entrance is on the east wall and has a wooden architrave with a ledged and boarded door. Inside, there is an inserted floor and the dovecote retains its nesting boxes.
