Description
Nos. 13-19 on Priest Lane is a terrace of four cottages built in the early to mid-19th century and refurbished in the 1980s. The cottages are constructed from red and yellow brick in a Flemish bond pattern and feature a plain tile roof with brick dogtooth eaves and two brick ridge stacks.
The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range, with one window for each cottage, arranged in reflected pairs. The windows are 6/6-pane casements; those on the first floor have painted sills and lintels, while the ground floor windows are topped with brick flat arches. There are four 20th-century part-glazed doors with pedimented hoods, and the door surrounds have stone jambs at the base, leading up to stone steps. There are indications of a former central feature on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
