Description

Numbers 1 to 3 Old School Cottages are late 16th century buildings constructed with a timber frame, plaster, and whitened brick. They are single-storey with attics and feature a gable end that shows exposed cruck beams. The cottages have a new tile roof with three dormers, and there is a brick wing with dormers that creates an L-shaped plan. These cottages, along with Gardeners Cottage, Moorend Cottage, and Ruyhalls Place, form a group.
