Description

A pair of houses, dating from the 17th century, which were remodelled in the late 18th or early 19th century and altered in the 20th century. The front is red brick in a Flemish bond, with timber framing to the gable of the right return. The roof is tiled, with varying heights, and has a central brick ridge stack and two renewed gabled dormers. The houses are single-storey and attic, with a three-window range to the front and a gabled rear wing. The windows are 6/6-pane casements, with segmental heads and brick segmental arches on the ground floor; one window on the right replaces a former door. A doorcase on the left (leading to No.4) features a segmental brick arch and a 20th-century door. The right return has been remodelled to include a side entrance to No.2A. The interior was not inspected.
