Description

The wall on the north and west sides of the Vicarage grounds in Pershore dates from the mid-18th century to mid-19th century. It serves as the boundary wall fronting Church Street and Church Walk. Constructed from red brick with some yellow bricks, the wall features a mix of Flemish bond and Flemish garden wall bond, and includes metal tie-bars. The coping is made of both tile and brick, as well as saddle-back-moulded brick above an oversailing brick course. The wall varies in height, sweeping or ramping up and down. There is a segmental-arched gateway onto Church Street, with rendered gate piers topped with stone cornices and capstones on Church Walk.
