Description

These are a pair of late 18th or early 19th century buildings on Merstow Green. They were later altered. The exterior is a combination of painted cement and brickwork. The buildings are two storeys high with five modern casement windows and plain eaves. The roofs are tiled. The shop fronts are modern, but incorporate glazing bars. These buildings are included on the list because of their contribution to the group value of the streetscape. They form a group with numbers 1 to 7 (consecutive) along Merstow Green, and with the Old Grammar School, alongside numbers 16 and 17 Vine Street.
