Description
Miller's house, adjoining Hadley Mill to the west, was built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tiled roof. The house is two storeys high and has a dentilled eaves cornice. It is designed in an L-shape with external brick stacks at the rear. The section that adjoins the mill includes a ground and first floor two-light casement window and a door, all with cambered heads. The wall perpendicular to the mill has a ground floor cross-casement window with a cambered head, a first floor three-light casement window, and the main entrance on the left side, which consists of a six-panelled door and a transom light with two glazing bars. At the right end of the house, there is a stable door and above it, a loft door, both also featuring cambered heads.
