Description
Miller's House and the attached outbuilding to the north are located in Healey and date from the early 19th century, while the outbuilding is from the 18th century and was extended and altered in the early 19th century. The house is constructed of squared stone, and the outbuilding features coursed rubble with tooled-and-margined dressings. The house has a slate roof, while the outbuilding has a roof made of stone slates.
The house is two storeys high with two wide bays. It has a central six-panel door with a two-pane overlight, set within a shallow porch that has a pediment. The windows are twelve-pane sash types, framed in stone surrounds with slightly projecting sills. The right gable is coped and features a moulded kneeler and a stepped stone stack. To the left of the house is a taller attached mill.
The outbuilding, which is set back to the right, is also two storeys high and has three bays. It includes a boarded door with a part-slatted window to the left, framed in chamfered alternating-block surrounds, another boarded door to the right, and two pitching doors above. At the far right, there is an attached privy.
